Velocity Riders can look forward to:

THE RIDE
All three routes depart The Centre in Purchase, NY and head north through Harrison toward Westchester County Airport. The 15K heads east for a quick loop around the airport and SUNY Purchase, while the 50K and 100K continue north and west through North White Plains and into Elmsford.
In Elmsford, Riders join the beautiful South County Trailway and head north. 50K riders turn east at Pleasantville and then head back toward Purchase while passing scenic Pleasantville Cove and Kenisco Lake. 100K riders continue north on the Trail and pass through Briarcliff Manor, Ossining and Croton-on-Hudson en route to the spectacular Croton Gorge Park and a crossing of the Croton Dam.
After the dam, Riders wind their way through the country roads of Cortlandt and soon cross the reservoir again as they visit Yorktown Heights and once again head offroad on to the North County Trailway through the Kitchawan Preserve. Exiting the trail in Millwood, 100K Riders then experience what we’re calling the “Hardscrabble Rollers"...several miles of enjoyable ups and downs that lead to Pleasantville. From Pleasantville it’s a fairly straight shot through Armonk back to Purchase and our home base at The Centre, where a well-deserved cold beer (or water) awaits!

BIKE RENTAL INFORMATION
We know that not everybody has their own bicycle fit to ride Velocity. To make sure everyone that would like to participate in Velocity can ride with us, we've teamed up with Unlimited Biking as our official bike rental partner for 2023. All bike rentals from Unlimited Biking include a free helmet, bike pick-up and drop-off convenience at the Start/Finish Line, and bike maintenance to ensure a smooth ride. Please note that bike rentals are handled individually by each rider, and the rental program is not managed or guaranteed by Velocity.
YOUR COMMITMENT AND BENEFITS
All Riders will have a $75 registration fee and $500 fundraising minimum ($100 fundraising minimum for Riders 12-15 years of age). Riders have until October 23 to reach their minimums.
100% of the funds raised for Velocity go directly toward expert patient care and cancer research at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center.
